It’s time for Kanye West to be banned from the Grammy’s. Kanye West took to the stage while Beck was accepting his award for Album of the Year. Kanye then about-faced in what seemed to be a joke, only to go on the E! post show recap to deliver his tirade that Beck needs to respect “artistry and creativity” and that Beck should have given the award to Beyonce.
“Y’all knew what it mean when ‘Ye walked on that stage,” Kanye West told E! in a post-Grammy interview, referencing his decision to follow Beck onto the stage after Beck won the Grammy for Album of the Year. It meant, of course, that West was unhappy that Beck had won instead of Beyoncé.
“When you keep on diminishing art, and disrespecting art, and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration,” he said.
Meanwhile – The idiots from E! urged him to continue his fight for creativity, while having a fangirl moment. Enough of Kanye West.
