A Series of nearly 100 photographs taken during the month of July in Berlin. Mostly male portraiture this is not a magazine, it’s not a travel diary, it’s not a book…it simply is a series of photographs that document the two dozen people I had the pleasure of photographing.

HTTP://FIERTH.COM – It was pure coincidence for I had just tried one of Liz’s recipes chicken and avocado with mushrooms from this fabulous new read The Dead Celebrity Cookbook by Frank DeCaro. I was burping all the way from the subway while making my way into Christies. Mama ran straight for the caftans! Jewelry or handbags are nice but a caftan that Liz may have spilled a martini or dribbled some pee on is what I want. Now that has value!
HTTP://FIERTH.COM – In Christopher Berry-Dee’s third book devoted to combing the minds of some of the heinous criminals with a fine-tooth comb delivers what turned out to be, hands down, the most disturbing 300 pages of literature I’ve ever read. Parts of his expose literally made me a little sick to my stomach. This presented a dilemma in the grading of Berry-Dee’s book because despite the fact that I didn’t particularly enjoy reading The Voices of Serial Killers, it was impeccably researched and written in a way that masterfully combined hard facts with witty and humorous commentary – a difficult feat given the nature of the topic. Thus after some deliberation, I settled at what I believe to be a fair grade of B-.

Scott Pasfield: People always tell you to shoot what you love. You have to start with yourself. The epiphany came one night at home. I was surfing the web and realized what a powerful tool it had become for connecting gay men across the country, from all over, and it just dawned on me. I decided that I would meet men from every state, and photograph them in the hopes that I could do a book that would change opinions and educate. And that started with shooting who I was and what my passions were.
