  (video) Heavy Metal Betty White sends up Golden Girls on SNL

  This week’s SNL digital short threatened to be a touching moment, as various current and former cast members came together to honor host Betty White by sitting her down and singing the classic Golden Girls “thank you for being a friend” theme song – until White herself stated that she preferred the heavy metal version and quickly turned the short into a violently bloody affair in which Betty was sporting a ski mask.
