You can still have great looking skin… look no further than your refrigerator

Yes, my friends, if even $5 is going to break your bank, there are still ways that you can look and feel great about your skin. The following recipes are easy and effective ways to care for your skin without costly trips to SEPHORA.  While these may not seem like inexpensive investments to start, items like essential oils last for what seems like an eternity.

1 kiwi
2 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 tablespoon orange water
1 tablespoon almond oil (jurlique.com)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon ground almonds
2 drops orange oil (jurlique.com)

Peel kiwi, and puree ingredients in blender. Massage onto face in circular motion and rinse off. One use.

AVOCADO MASK (normal to dry skin)

1. Beat an egg yolk until frothy and light.
2. Beat in half a mashed avocado.
3. Apply to face and leave on for 20 minutes.
4. Finish with a lightweight moisturizer.

MANGO ALOE TONER (normal skin)

1 cup aloe vera gel, chilled
2 tablespoons mango puree
1 lime, juiced

Puree ingredients in blender and chill. Apply in the evening with a cotton pad and rinse off in the morning. Lasts up to two weeks in the refrigerator.

2 teaspoons plain yogurt
1/2 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
3 capsules vitamin e, broken open

Blend ingredients and leave on face for 15 minutes. Use immediately.

2-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup almond oil
4 teaspoons lemon juice
4 tablespoons honey
4 drops lemon oil

Mix ingredients and store in refrigerator.
