A Pulsating New Nightlife Destination Launches in the Heart of NYC

Hospitality Queen Susan Buckley and partner Stuart Black, the Nightlife King who has thrown legendary parties from NYC, to Sydney, will bring a new entertainment experience to the heart of Manhattan with the opening of BPM (516 West 42nd Street). Grand opening weekend, Danny Verde will spin on Friday, February 14th and Grammy Award winning DJ/Producer David Morales will man the DJ booth on Saturday, February 15th for “KEEP ON DANCIN”, a fundraiser to benefit GMHC & Lifebeat. BPM’s talent roster will include DJ’s Steven Redant, Wayne G, Chad Jack, Mike Cruz and Brian Serving Ovahness. “At its heart, BPM (Beats Per Minute) was created to be a home away from home for the world’s top DJ’s. We have the best dance floor & sound system in NYC and now will have the best talent to match,” explains Susan Buckley.

Over the last six weeks, the 14,000 square foot venue, which formerly housed XL, has undergone design enhancements, which includes a dazzling new high-tech laser lighting system, an upgraded state-of-the-art sound system, a revamped VIP area, new on-the dance floor 360-degree premium seating and a main floor easy-to-access coat room. BPM’s front bar lounge, Rosebud (512 West 42nd Street), will now be surrounded by cozy banquets to allow for intimate seating.

BPM will host a string of sexy events surrounding The Saint At Large’s legendary Black Party as THE OUT NYC resort, which houses the club, is its official Host Hotel. On March 22nd, the new venue will host a DJ symposium and Q&A with Black Party DJ’s. Celebrity partners at BPM include Grammy nominated DJ Tony Moran who will produce a series of exclusive musical events at the venue and songwriter, producer DJ, label owner and artist Ultra Nate’ who will host her monthly Deep Sugar NYC industry party there.

THE OUT NYC’s owners are excited to have secured such experienced industry-defining leaders to launch BPM. Susan Buckley will lead the charge with 25 years of nightlife experience that includes working with Ian Schrager and Julio Mathozo da Mottavid Rabin, the former President of the New York Nightlife Association. Stuart Black has over 10 years of nightlife experience in New York City, Los Angeles and Sydney working at premiere clubs such as his Mr. Black, Webster Hall and Marquee.
